About Me
In the spring of 1986 I was bought my first camera and boy I fell in love with photography immediately. It wasn't the most expensive camera only a 35mm compact, which was heaven for me. I fell in love with photography purely for what it means to me even back then when I was only 10 years old but I knew a photo would last 5 life times. We all have photo's of great grandparents, never knew them, but always heard the stories being told, that for me is the essence of Photography.
In the early part of 2004 I did the transition to digital format. At first I did not like it, it felt cold and attached from reality, but after a couple of months I finally got my rhythm. I now shoot anything form insects to the most important day of our lives. I still like to see the joy it brings when you see people going through photos and smiling or even crying. I look at it from all kinds of angles a photo does not have to be happy it can also be sad.
I look at photography not as a job but as lifestyle capturing the moments in life we will want to share with others for many years to come.
